A superb early Victorian solid mahogany hall bench with carved ends and unusual open fretted design legs C.1860. Solid figured mahogany seat with open carved ends and rolled over arms. Moulded back ra...il and panel below the seat with pateras to the centre. Sat on unusual tapering legs, the centres fretted out to for a three dimensional appearance. Superb quality and detail, very heavy. Excellent condition and colour with a good polish. Measures 42.5" long x 18" deep x 27" high. Stock number 36544.
