Superb Early Moorcroft Persian Pattern Vase
A superb early Moorcroft 'Persian' pattern twin handle vase c.1913. The vase potted with a small rim to the foot and a wide rim to the top, twin loop handles either side. The vase with cream background decorated with a continuous band of tube lined flowers to the outside and a complimenting band to the inside of the rim. Richly painted in deep purples, blues and dark reds with soft green foliage; the handles washed green to match. Bears the Moorcroft Burslem impression to the base along with an early William Moorcroft's signature in green. Presented in perfect condition with no restoration (in...cluding the handles!). Measures 3.5" high x 3.25" diameter at the rim x 5.5" maximum width including the handles. Stock number 38328.
