Superb Carved Walnut Starburst Barometer
A superb quality Victorian carved walnut 'starburst' design cased aneroid barometer by Manoah Rhodes & Sons of Bradford c.1885. The starburst design case with moulded outer edge, decorative carving to the tip of each section and turned mount set to the centre holding the barometer. Aneroid movement sat behind a decorative white porcelain dial with red capitals, the dial sat under bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel with central reading marker. Bears the makers name for highly regarded Bradford cabinet makers Manoah Rhodes & Sons. Presented in immaculate c...ondition fully serviced and working. Measures 14" wide x 14" high x 2.5" maximum depth x 6" dial diameter. Stock number 39316.
