Superb Bronze of a Retriever Paul Edouard Delabrierre
A superb original signed bronze of a Retriever by French sculptor Paul Edouard Delabrierre, 1829 - 1912. This fine example of his work depicting a Retriever with duck in mouth entitled 'Chien de Chasse' (Hunting dog with bird in mouth). Wonderful detail throughout typical of the artist with excellent original patina, signed to the bottom right.
