A superb quality late Victorian Art Nouveau solid silver photo frame, hallmarked Birmingham 1901. Swept top and sides in typical Art Nouveau style, the front of the frame with embossed fl...owing floral decoration to the top and base. The silver face returning around the sides to meet the original brown leather back with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Deakin & Francis along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Takes photograph 4" x 5.75". Measures overall 6.5" wide x 8.25" high. Stock number 39240.
