Superb Art Nouveau Inlaid Mantel Clock
A superb Edwardian figured mahogany mantle clock with Art Nouveau inlaid decoration and 8 day French movement c.1900. The solid figured mahogany case with swept top and shaped sides, moulded plinth to the base with small brass bun feet; Art Nouveau fruitwood inlays to the front of the case. Convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands set behind a matching convex glass set in a polished brass bezel, the 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement.
