Superb Art Deco Silver Compact
A superb quality heavy quality solid silver engine turned finish Art Deco compact, hallmarked Birmingham 1935. Square form with clipped corners and slightly domed sides, the front superbly engraved with an engine turned sunburst to the centre and cross hatched finish to the sides in the Art Deco style. The back with engine turned finish, press release catch to the front. The hinged lid opening to reveal an immaculate interior with mirror to the lid and gilded hinged inner cover for the powder. Heavy quality and hallmarked to all sections, bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Bravi...ngtons. The best quality you can find and presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.25" wide x 3.25" deep x 0.25" deep. Stock number 38613.
