A superb quality antique Victorian carved walnut cased aneroid barometer with rare dished porcelain dial C.1880. Small proportion carved case with arched moulded top and decorative leaf work below the... turned surround to the dial. Android skeletonised movement surrounded by a decorative porcelain dished dial sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Matching porcelain scale to the original mercury action thermometer. Outstanding Quality and condition with a deep shine, full working order. Measures 25" long x 9" maximum width x 2.25" deep.
