A superb quality late Victorian solid figured oak cased barograph with chart drawer and engraved silvered scale barometer dial. C.1895. Quarter sawn polished figured oak case with moulded waist and tw...o section chart drawer to the base. Bevelled edge glass cover. Polished brass movement with original bellows and constant read engraved silvered scale barometer dial. Original ink bottle. Bears the makers label for J Lizars, Glasgow & London. Fully restored movement, immaculate condition with a deep shine to the timber work, perfect glass panels. Measures 14" wide x 8.25" deep x 8.25" high. Stock number 34273.
