A substantial early Victorian cast brass weighted door stop; weighing over 8lbs c.1850. Cast brass oblong foot with with half octagonal urn shaped top, carrying handle to the top with scroll d...ecoration to the ends. Cast iron infill weight set behind giving a heavier 8lb weight. Superb quality and condition. Measures 5" wide x 2.5" deep at the base x 13" high. Stock number 39887.
