A Stunning William & Mary period figured walnut escritoire.c.1700. Book matched veneers and herring bone cross banding throughout. Fall front flap with an inset leather writing surface and a selection... of small drawers to the interior. Moulded cornice with drawer to the top and serpentine shaped drawers below. Two short over two long drawers to the base. Standing on original turned bun feet. Fruitwood inlaid. Canted corners. Original brass fittings. Superb colour and patina. Measures 45" x 21" x 69"high.
