A Stunning George I Period figured walnut bureau bookcase.c.1720. Book matched veneers to the fall front bureau. Fitted interior with sliding well, stepped drawers and pigeon holes to the back. Inset leather writing surface. Two short over two long drawers with period brass fittings. Candle holder slides above. Arcaded fielded panels to the bookcase top. Adjustable shelves to the interior. Moulded cornice top. Herring bone fruitwood cross banded throughout. Superb colour and patina. measures 39.5" x 21" x 82"high.
