Sovereign and Stamp Case
A superior quality solid silver square sovereign and stamp case in immaculate unused condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1913. The solid silver square case with slightly domed front and rear surfaces and rounded edges and corners. Large hanging loop to the top with push button catch release for opening the sovereign compartment. The sovereign compartment has a clean interior and an engine turned spring loaded disc to secure the full sovereigns in place. The rear of the case with snap closing hinged lid, opening to reveal a compartment to hold stamps. Bears the makers mark ...for Birmingham silversmith Thomas Bishton along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 1.25" square x 0.6" deep x 2" high including hanging loop. Stock number 42113.
