A small Victorian polished oak banjo barometer by highly regarded London maker, Negretti & Zambra c.1900. The barometer in excellent original condition with the dial bearing... the maker's name, Negretti & Zambra of Holborn, Regent Street & Cornhill, London, and numbered 26417. Brass bezel with thick bevelled edge glass and centre reading marker, sat over the porcelain dial. Matching porcelain thermometer scale above with mercury action thermometer. Simple carved shell decoration to the the small proportioned case, complete with finial to the top. Fully serviced and in full working order, presented in immaculate condition. Measures 25.5" long x 7.5" wide x 2.75" deep. Stock number 40673.
