A small Victorian carved oak banjo barometer with porcelain dial and aneroid movement by Marsden & Son, Preston c.1900. The small proportioned solid oak case with decorative carving to the top ...and matching carving to the base. Aneroid movement sat behind a porcelain dial, polished brass bezel with quarter plate bevelled edge glass and central reading marker. Matching thermometer scale above with original mercury action thermometer. Fully serviced and working, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 25" long x 7" wide x 2" maximum depth. Stock number 40225.
