A small proportioned Regency pollard oak two drawer library table in superb original condition c.1820. The burr veneered pollard oak top with broad crossbanded edge, sat over a two drawer base with... matching dummy drawers to the rear. The drawers with cockbeaded edges and original turned knobs; matching design to the rear to allow freestanding. Twin pedestal base with simple slightly tapering uprights supported by a turned stretcher set between the two pedestals, all sat on moulded solid burr oak pad feet. Superbly made and presented in wonderful original condition with a mellow colour and original patina. Measures 29" wide x 19" deep x 26.5" high. Stock number 41975.
