A small Regency brass inlaid ebonised lancet top single fusee bracket clock with enamel dial by James Bennett of Norwich, fully serviced and working c.1810. The small proportioned ebonised case with lancet top and brass stringing to the front and complementing brass wire work decoration below the dial. Fretwork sound frets to the sides with gilt lion mask ring drop handles sat to the centre of each and brass bun feet to the base. Cast brass hinged bezel with engine turned border and convex glass forming the dial window; key release catch to the side. White porcelain enamel co...nvex dial with Roman numerals, the makers name and blued steel hands. The eight day duration single fusee movement with anchor escapement and arched top plates, original pendulum and securing bolt. This superb example in excellent original condition, fully serviced and working and sold with a previous bill of sale (dated 1960) along with service bills for 40 years with the same owner.  Measures 7.5" wide x 5.75" deep x 13" high.  Stock number 41647.
