Small Georgian Oak Six Plank Coffer
A small light oak George III period six plank coffer with original forged iron hinges c.1790. Six plank design with the side panels forming the feet, overlapped top with with superb original decorative hand forged hinges and matching clasp to the lock. Scratch carved decoration to the edges and scalloped moulding to the corners. The hinged top opening to reveal a clean interior. Superb original light golden patina, very original. Measures 32.75" wide x 12" deep x 21.5" high. Stock number 37329.
