Small George III Oak Cottage Longcase Clock
A small proportioned George III period oak cased painted dial cottage longcase clock C.1800. Original painted dial with colourful country scenes decorating the corners of the dial, original roman numerals in Indian ink. 30 hour bell striking movement in full working order. Sat in the original small proportioned polished oak case with long shaped top door. Moulded cornice to the hood and brass mounted columns either side of the view window. Superb condition with a deep shine and original patina, fully overhauled movement. Measures 6' 4" tall x 21" maximum width x 11" deep. Stock number 34263....
