Small George III Mahogany Chest with Brushing Slide
A small proportioned George III Country House mahogany chest of drawers with brushing slide and original fittings c.1770. Figured mahogany top with moulded edge sat over a pull out 'brushing slid' surface. Four graduated drawers below, each with figured veneers and cock beaded edges; original brass swan neck handles and complementing lock escutcheons. Moulded base rail with original bracket feet below. Excellent quality with oak drawer linings and original boarded back. Presented in superb original condition with a rich colour and original patina. Measures 30" wide x 18.5" deep x 33" h...igh.
