Small Early Moorcroft Orchid Vase
A small and very early Moorcroft orchid pattern vase with Burslem impression, signed William Moorcroft c.1913. The globular formed vase with wide neck and slightly flared rim. Decorated with tube lined orchids to both sides. Teal blue ground with the flowers decorated in dark and soft purples. Signed William Moorcroft to the base in green with early Moorcroft Burslem factory impressions indicating a date of manufacture of 1913. Presented in immaculate perfect unrestored condition. Measures 3" wide x 2.5" high. Stock number 41064.
