Small Antique Carved Oak Banjo Barometer
A small proportioned antique Victorian solid oak aneroid banjo barometer with porcelain dial C.1880. Arched top with carved sunburst over the thermometer box. Decorative carving to the sides and base. Porcelain dial to the aneroid movement set behind bevel edge glass with a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Matching scale to the mercury action thermometer. Bears the retailers name, Thompson Edinburgh. Superb colour and original patina. Full working order. Measures 22" long x 7" wide x 1.5" deep.
