Silver Three Section Stamp Box
An Edwardian period solid silver three section stamp box with three show stamps to the lid, hallmarked Birmingham 1909. Oblong form, the hinged lid with three glazed windows to display your chosen stamps. Half round dished base stood on small bun feet. The spring loaded lid opening to reveal three internal sections to hold the stamps each with dished base to aid removal of the stamps and original gilt finish. The leather cloth lid lining with removable cover to access the stamp windows in the lid. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths A & J Zimmerman and presented in im...maculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.75" long x 1.5" deep x 1" high. Stock number 38869.
