An unusual Edwardian period solid silver sloping top stamp box with gadrooned border to the foot, hallmarked Birmingham 1907. Octagonal form with hinged opening lid, the embossed frame forming a view window for two stamps. Polished silver sides and decorative gadrooned border to the base. Opens to reveal a two section interior, each with dished base to aid the removal of stamps. Presented in excellent condition. Measures 2.75" wide x 1.75" deep x 1.5" high at back. Stock number 37233.
