Silver Ring Box with Mother of Pearl Butterfly
An unusual solid silver oval ring box with decorative mother of pearl winged butterfly to the lid, hallmarked Birmingham 1907. Oval form with hinged opening lid, rolled seem to the edge and matching rim to the base section. Sat on small claw feet. The lid inset with a mother of pearl winged butterfly, the body and wing edges in a raised silver design. Opens to reveal a clean blue velvet lined interior. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Mitchell Bosley. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.5" wide x 2.25" deep x 1.25" high. Stock number 37852.
