Silver Postal Scales with Stamp Drawer
A set of Edwardian period solid silver postal scales with bone scale and stamp drawer to the base, hallmarked Birmingham 1908. The square base sat on small bun feet with a single drawer lined in mahogany. The engraved curved bone scale to the front showing rates and weights. Circular pad above to place the letter, scale adjuster below. Solid silver throughout. Bears the makers mark for collected maker Levi & Salaman. Excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.5" high x 2.5" deep x 1.75" wide. Stock number 35700.
