Silver Leaf Design Taper Candle Stick and Snuffer
A fine quality early Victorian solid silver embossed and engraved leaf design taper candle stick in the form of a chamber stick with matching snuffer, hallmarked Birmingham 1841. The base in the form of a leaf with superb detail, plus the handle formed from a stem and a leaf design for the thumb plate. Candle holder to the centre with removable frilled edge sconce, snuffer to the side in the form of a rolled leaf. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Joseph Willmore along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Superbly detailed and presented in immaculate conditio...n with a deep shine. Measures 2" wide x 2.75" deep x 1.75" high. Stock number 41660.
