Silver Card Box with Playing Card
A heavy quality solid silver George V period domed top two section card box complete with the original playing cards, hallmarked Birmingham 1927. Domed hinged lid with flange to the front edge to aid opening, sat over a matching polished mirror finish base section. The lid opening to reveal an immaculate gilt lined interior with division to the base to keep the two sets of original cards in position. Bears the makers mark for London retailers Grey & Co (Oxford St & Piccadilly) along clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine ...along with two complete sets of original cards. Measures 2" wide x 1.5" deep x 3" high. Stock number 40293.
