Silver and Enamel Topped Cut Crystal Scent Bottle
A top quality cut crystal scent bottle with hinged silver and engine turned champagne gold enamel top, hallmarked Birmingham 1937. The crystal vessel slightly waisted in the centre, with ridged design to the lower half, cross cut decoration to the upper half and star cut base. Faceted top with silver collar above, the flared design hinged lid with snap closing and engine turned sunburst to the top; lid finished in champagne gold enamel. The lid opening to reveal a gilt lined interior with original ground glass stopper. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Charles Boy...nton & Sons along with hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate unused condition with perfect clear crystal. Measures 2.75" diameter at the base x 5.5" high. Stock number 40768.
