A George V period solid silver three piece desk set comprising of capstan's silver ink well, nib wipe and cut crystal stamp moistener, hallmarked Birmingham 1925. The three piece desk set comprisin...g of capstan's silver ink well with hinged top and weighted base, plus original glass liner to the interior. Matching design nib wipe with weighted silver base and inset unused bristles for wiping excessive ink of the pen nib. Matching crystal stamp moistener with faceted sides and star design base. The silver pieces with matching hallmarks and bearing the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Henry Matthews. All three pieces sat in the original leather cloth presentation case with silk and velvet lined interior. Presented in immaculate unused condition. Ink well measures 2.75" diameter x 1.25" high, nib wipe measures 1.75" diameter x 1.5" high, stamp moistener measures 2.5" wide x 1.5" deep x 1.25" high. Stock number tba.
