A superb quality Short & Mason marine barometer in the original fitted mahogany carrying case c.1930's. The brass cased barometer with hanging loop to the top and fold out legs for surface stan...ding. Cream enamel dial with military cypher, makers name and serial number. The Original mahogany carrying case with immaculate polished finish, polished brass locking catch to the hinged lid. The interior with hinged recess to hold the barometer which can be secured with the lid to use in the case. Includes original Air Ministry presentation plate for 1939 included, fully serviced and working and presented in superb condition. Box measures 7" wide x 7" deep x 4" high, barometer measures 5" diameter. Stock number 39616.
