A Victorian solid silver miniature dictionary case with magnifier and original dictionary, made by Sampson Mordan and hallmarked London 1895. The oblong silver case with rounded ends, hanging ...loop to the top and magnifying glass to the front. The silver cover revolving open to form a magnifier and allowing access to the original leather bound miniature dictionary. The interior of the case with immaculate gilt lined interior. Bears the makers mark for collected maker Sampson Mordan along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine and a perfect dictionary. Measures 1.5" long x 1" wide x 0.5" deep. Stock number 40333.
