An Edwardian period solid silver and engine turned enamel top match box holder by sought after maker Sampson Morden, hallmarked Chester 1909. Mauve engine turned finish enamel top with small oval floral panel to the centre with white oval boarder and matching outer edge. Oval open sides for access to the match striker and matching end to push the box open. Immaculate condition. Bears the makers mark for Sampson Morden. Measures 1.75" long x 1.2" wide x 0.6 tall.
