Robson & Cooper Silver Mounted Riding Whip
A George V silver mounted riding whip with horn handle and original woven leather tail by Robson & Cooper of York, hallmarked London 1920. Polished horn handle with substantial silver collar mount to the brown leather interwoven stem. The strap at the end of the stem holds the original brown leather tail; all interwoven to match the stem. The silver mount engraved with the makers name Robson & Cooper, York, along with worn but readable hallmarks. Robson & Cooper were originally saddle and equestrian leather goods makers and suppliers to Queen Victoria an...d the Royal household. A difficult to find complete item presented in excellent condition with a rich patina to the leather. Measures 18" long x 1" diameter at handle. Stock number 41448.
