Regency Rosewood Pen and Ink Box

A small Regency period rosewood pen and ink box with original fitted interior c.1825. Oblong form with fine quality turned carrying handle to the centre. The hinged two piece top opening to form a desk top pen and ink stand with spaces for two ink wells, two pen trays and a nib compartment with cover to the centre (click here to view a video of this box). Shallow drawer below for storing writing paper and envelopes. Sat on small feet with original knob to the drawer, excellent original colour and polish.  Measures 11" wide x 8" deep x 4" high. Stock number 39340.
