A Regency period walnut table box with parquetry decoration to the lid, original turned bun feet and a lined interior c.1830. Decorative parquetry inlaid top in a mixture of ebony, mahogany, boxwoo...d and fruitwood, plus banded panels of walnut to the sides and original turned rosewood bun feet to the base. The hinged lid opening to reveal an original red leather cloth lined interior with original working lock and key. Ideal as a jewel box or for keepsakes. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and original patina. Measures 12" wide x 8" deep x 5" high. Stock number CS318.
