Rare Victorian Silver Toasting Fork

A rare late Victorian solid silver toasting fork with quality engraving to the handle in immaculate unused condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1900. The solid silver handle tapering towards the top with a shaped end forming the thumb rest; high quality deep cut engraved decoration to the face side of the handle with a polished underside. The three prong fork end with diamond cut out and scroll design decoration to the mount, the prongs with chamfered edges and pointed ends for holding the marshmallow or toast.
