A rare George VI period solid silver collapsible calling card case, hallmarked Birmingham 1938. Formed from four pieces of solid silver with thumb recess to one end and spring loaded hinges to... all four sides gripping the cards in place; the case snapping flat when empty. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Deakin & Francis along with hallmarks to all sections. Presented in good condition with a deep shine. Measures 1.75" wide x 0.5" deep x 3.5" long.
