A rare and unusual immaculate George V period solid silver engine turned combination compactum with pen, money clip, stamp compartment, compact, mirror and note pad, hallmarked Birmingham 1915.... The solid silver case with pin stripe engine turned finish to both sides, hanging loop to the top and further loop to pull out the matching concealed silver pen. Flanges to the sides to aid opening; opens to reveal a gilt lined interior, two compartments to the left sides for stamps and storage for a compact. Hinged mirror to the centre with note pad to the reverse side. Engraved spring loaded money clip to the rear side of the interior. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths William Neale along with clear hallmarks, weighing in at 18.5g. A most unusual item presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.25" long x 2.5" wide x 0.5" deep. Stock number 39410.
