Rare Moorcroft Pansy on White Vase
A superbly potted and rare Moorcroft 'Pansy on white' vase, signed William Moorcroft c.1905. Squat flared base with long and narrow neck, flared rim to the top. The base decorated continuous garlan...d of pansies with buds and leaves, complimenting smaller garland below the rim. The flowers painted against a soft white background in soft yellows mauves and pinks with green relief, matching green wash to the inside of the rim. Bears the Macintyre factory mark to the base along with William Moorcroft's signature in green. Superbly painted and presented in perfect unrestored condition with no damage. Measures 4.5" maximum width x 6.25" high. Stock number 38731.
