A rare and unusual Moorcroft big poppy design flambe glaze vase C.1925. Bulbous form with potting lines to the lower section. The tube line decoration forming three individual poppy flowers panelled w...ith stylized wreaths of leaves. The red and yellow flowers under a light coral coloured flambe glaze in superb condition. Blue wash to inside and base rim. Impression for Moorcroft to the base over signed by William Moorcroft. Presented in immaculate condition. Measures 7" high x 5" wide. Stock number 34926.
