A rare flared base inlaid late Victorian balloon clock with 8 day Swiss movement CX.1890. The fine quality case with flared case to the front and side with original moulded bracket foot. Figured mahog...any timbers with kingwood banded edge. Porcelain enamel dial behind bevel edge glass set in a brass bezel. 8 day swiss movement with platform escapement. Fully overhauled movement. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 6" wide x 4" deep x 10" high. Stock number 35887.
