An unusual and possibly unique world time clock with revolving globe to the top c.1910. The substantial 8 day movement with platform escapement and single drive mechanism powering the clock, twenty four hour world clock and revolving automaton globe. Engraved silvered dial set to the front with twenty four hour world clock the the bottom, present time clock set above, the paper mache revolving globe above with pointer indicating the world time corresponding to the twenty four hour dial. Sat on a superb rosewood plinth with decorative inlays to the front, original glass dome dust cover sat over... the top. Fully overhaul and restored, presented in immaculate condition. Measures 13" wide x 8.5" deep x 19" high. Stock number CS90.
