Quality Victorian Carved Walnut Barometer
A superior quality Victorian walnut cased aneroid barometer with porcelain dial c.1890. The turned polished walnut surround with decorative carved relief and polished brass hanging loop to the top. Aneroid movement sat behind a a porcelain dial with bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel, reading marker knob to the centre. Superb quality and condition with a deep shine and original patina, full working order. Measures 8.5" diameter x 2" deep. Stock number 36996.
