Quality Victorian Carved Oak Banjo Barometer
A superior quality Victorian solid polished oak banjo barometer with engraved silvered scales C.1885. Swan neck pediment to the top and reeded pillars to the sides of the central section with thermometer set to the middle. Carved surround to the barometer dial with matching carved base. Fine quality engraving to the silvered scales, with mercury action thermometer and aneroid barometer movement. Polished brass bezel with bevelled glass view window and centre reading marker. Bears the makers name to the dial, Abrahams, Liverpool. Fully overhauled movement, presented in immaculate condition with... a deep shine. Measures 37" long x 11.25" wide x 2.5" maximum depth.
