A quality Victorian burr walnut baby Sutherland table with decorative turned base c.1880. The low proportioned table with oval drop leaves to each side and moulded edge, the top folding out to make... an oval occasional table with quarter cut burr veneers. The base with twin turned supports and moulded foot to each end and match pull out gate action legs with original brass and porcelain castors. Very sturdy and useable and presented in excellent condition with a rich colour and deep polish. Measures 26" wide x 7" deep x 20.5" high when closed or 26" wide x 21" deep (oval) when open.
