A quality hand knotted Persian pure wool rug in traditional style typical of the Hamadan area of Persia c.1930; newly cleaned ready for use. Dense pile with dark red ground to the centre and decorated with an interlocked geometric floral design. Broad champagne coloured border to the edge with complementing decoration flanked by two narrow dark red bands. Presented in excellent stain free unworn condition, newly cleaned ready for use.
