Primitive Ash and Elm Butlers Stool

A very original George III period ash and elm Welsh butlers stool C.1760. The triangular formed base with three tapering chamfered legs supported by an over lapped base stretcher. The oblong top with clipped corners, the tops of elm the legs showing through ash seat. Superb colour and original patina. Measures 17" wide x 14" deep at the bottom of the foot x 21" high.
