Philips 6" Papier Mache Globe
A superior quality 1930's Phillips 6" terrestrial globe on the original turned ebonised timber foot. Broad ring turned foot with the original patinated ebonised finish, rising to meet the cast polished brass axis supporting the globe. The 6" papier mache globe revolving in the axis in superb clear condition, bears the makers label for George Philips & Sons, Fleet Street, London. Presented in excellent original undamaged condition with an excellent patina. Measures 6.75" wide overall including axis with a 6" globe x 5" diameter at the base x 11" high. Stock numbe...r 44245.
