Persian Wool Rug
A superior quality Persian pure wool rug with repeated paisley Boteh design typical of the Eastern area of Persia c.1920. The deep fine pure wool hand knotted pile with repeated paisley design in dark blues and reds. Broad triple border to the outer edge with a stylised floral decoration set against an ivory background. Natural shading to the pile when picked up by the light, presented in superb stain and ware free condition, newly cleaned ready for use. Measures 83" long x 44.75" wide. Stock number 41794.
